Sketch #57

Sketch #57 is a great one for a fun embellishment! I switched it up somewhat by adding a square behind my round embellishment- I thought my plaid paper needed a bit more separation from the sticker.

The stickers by Creative Imaginations are "Old guys rule" stickers- too funny and perfect for masculine cards! The papers are from the Boy Scouts stack by K & Co. I love both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts stacks they sell- great patterns and colors for many projects. Most of the papers have one side that is not really clearly connected to Scouting, so it's easy to use the papers even if you're like me and don't have any Scouts at home.

Are you making any progress with your cardmaking goals for 2012? I'm doing well on my sketch challenges. I should do two sketches a week to be on schedule and so far I have 7 done in two weeks- three ahead of schedule. I might make it through all the past sketches by the summer at this rate!
