After a frustrating conversation at work today, I knew I needed to spend a little time chilling tonight to get that unpleasantness out of my mind. It's wonderful to know I have a hobby that allows me to forget some of the stress of everyday life. :)
What better way to unwind than to work on some OWH challenges and some Christmas cards? I'm a little worried that I'm making Christmas cards that won't get there in time, but I'll just keep making them and either send a smaller box than usual or hold back on the Christmas cards if there's not a huge need and mail them next year. I don't think there's any way I'll be making about 200 cards in a month so I can fill up a large flat rate box, given that I'm working full time! I want them to still be good cards!
Here's my card. Stamps are by Studio G and Hampton Arts. Colored with Bic Mark-its. Ribbon is Offray (sorry May Arts, I don't have any of your gorgeous stuff just yet!), punch is EK Success, ovals are Nestabilities.
This card is for three challenges on OWH. The sketch is Bo Bunny's challenge. The color scheme is Paper and Such Design's challenge. The ribbon is for Sandy's challenge with May Arts. And the Christmas theme is because that time will soon be here!
Thanks for stopping by!
Cards shipped to OWH (as of 9/12/11): 1325
