In Memory of a Friend
One of my co-workers passed away today. He had been fighting aggressive cancer for nearly a year and it was time for him to be at peace. I met J when I started my teaching career in 2008 and ate lunch with him nearly every day for those three years. While three years isn't a long time to know someone, I feel like J made a lasting impression on me and I know he's in a better place.
