When I spotted this paper (25 sheets for $1.16 at a dollar store), I knew it would make good cards for teenagers. I made one like this and stopped. I want to do something different to make some more but I'm stuck without any ideas for the moment.

I was trying to come up with a great suggestion for you. You could treat the paper like general paper and add a sentiment like "Thunking of you", "Hello", "Missing You". I would look online for a free sentiment that has a skateboarder feel to it. I really like to use metal on guy cards. Have fune and repost your new version! TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions, Linda. I might try embossing some silver paper I have with the diamond plate folder and use a sentiment you suggested. I'll post again in a few days with something new!
DeleteI like this! How about using sketch 126, making the dp the image area and then beating up/ distressing a solid background piece! Orange and grey in layers would look neat. I can't believe I'm actually suggesting this, but maybe run over some paper with your car? That could be really neat on a skateboarding card.
ReplyDeleteSounds like I need to take some scrapbooking paper out to the car with me when I leave for Mass in a few minutes. It's worth a try! I'll post it in a few days.
