This challenge was to make a beach-themed thinking of you card. While I have a couple of beach stamps, they lend themselves to making a scene and I never like what I make with them. Instead, I grabbed this decade-old die cut, mounted it on white to help it look a bit cleaner, and placed it on a card based on Sketch 42. The stamp is my KI Memories, the brads are from Colorbok, and the papers are from K&Co.
Cards shipped to OWH in 2012: none thus far, but my box is filling up nicely!

Wow your are speedy getting your cute card posted. The die cut works perfectly for this theme. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove how you incorporated the banner! Great job! TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the great colors here! The image is cute and doesn't it make you feel good to know you finally put something to use that's been lying around for so long! I love when that happens!
ReplyDeleteI never do well with "scenes" either :) This decade old die-cut has clearly been waiting for this specific moment in time because it is just perfect for this challenge! I love how you turned the sentiment into the flag tying it into the image. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI don't want to do chores either! This is much more fun! I just adore your little beachy boy!
ReplyDeleteLet's go to the beach and play in the sand!!! Love your card!
ReplyDeleteYou picked the perfect die cut. It is such fun to find "old" goodies in our stash that work so well for a certain person, challenge, or event.
ReplyDeleteKathryn, This is so cute. Makes me want to take a ride to the beach and play in the sand.
