It's Friday which means it's time for Friends with Flair on Unity's blog. I got some more washi at Target today. My favorite so far are definitely their up&up brand rolls (4 for $4) which I used on most of the cards below. They also have some paper tape in the kids crafts aisle with bold prints or all solids, 9 rolls for $6.99. I have some more ideas I want to try out with the kiddie stuff tomorrow.
For now, here's my Friends with Flair entry. I used Walmart's paper tape on this card.
And here are a bunch of other cards I made with the washi from Target.
------
Cards shipped to OWH in 2012: 620 blank and 200 AnyHero (as of 4/24)
Cards shipped to OWH in 2011: 1695

These are all really cute. My favorite is the "miss you" one.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to make CAS cards and using Washi tape.
ReplyDeleteyou have pretty cards.
ReplyDeleteWow! Super cards! Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are so sweet! What a great way to create different designs with washi tapes.
ReplyDeletei love the "miss you" card the best! :)
ReplyDeleteI am LOVING all of your washi cards! I wish I could find the orange/yellow washi pack at Target, but my local one doesn't carry it--just the other three color combos. Anyway, these are SO much fun!
ReplyDeleteI actually bought that pack from Goodwill and I loved it enough to go to Target to pay full price for the others. They clearly discontinued that color combination because Goodwill had all of the office supplies in those colors. You might try your local Goodwill just on the off chance they have it. Mine carries a lot of discontinued Target merchandise. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThese are great, Kathryn! I love those bright colors... hmmm, I might just have to hit up Target when I get back home!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards with this fun tape! Great work!
ReplyDeleteHey, aren't you just the washi tape queen! I can never think of what to do with it, but look at you go! I love all these cards. Great job!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, I have got to get me some of this washi tape!
