I found an awesome deal on red ric rac at Tuesday Morning and knew it would help me make some cute flag cards. (I paid just 62 cents including tax for 15 yards of the ric rac!) The design of these cards is really simple, but attaching the ric rac isn't. I ended up just tacking each piece down with a little bit ot ATG tape in the center and then folding the excess to the back and using more ATG there. I didn't have any fabric glue, so that seemed like the only viable option.
The center of the star is an embellishment from K&Co's Americana line that I got on clearance at JoAnn's. Everything else is just basic cardstock.
I made 14 of these cards tonight. I hope they make some heroes smile.
I also made some of my own sketches today, 8 in all. I'm working on digitizing them now and then might be posting them soon. I need to find out if I can post a PDF in order to do that.
